Hello! I'm Benjamin Corey, and I like to make software and other things.

I currently work over at Onshape where I contribute to our part modeling tools and lead Rust development of the model regeneration data infrastructure that lets us quickly ship seamless updates. I'm also an avid user of the product, making things ranging from parametric furniture to 3d printed parts for adding PC cooling to TV cabinets. I can usually be found in the #stupid-questions channel of our slack workspace (asking the questions), or swapping cat pictures with my work friends.

I'm active member of the Philly tech scene - particularly PHL Code Club - and can be spotted in Boston, NYC, and DC on occasion. I started this blog so I'd have some place to point people after cornering them at a party to discuss Rust and all the cool things you can make with it, including the SSG that generates this blog, blogr. My contributions to the repo can be found here.

If you'd like to chat about any or all of these things, I'm best reached at [email protected] or via LinkedIn.
